Who Is 'Mofarmerspeaks'

Her Beginning

From introducing the Former First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS), Barbara Bush, at the age of 17, to delivering inspirational and engaging messages to congregations and corporate audiences for over 20 years, Dr. Michaela O'Neal Farmer (aka ‘Mofarmerspeaks’ or “Shayla” to family and friends) has proven that she is an anointed and gifted speaker who knows how to encourage those in her presence.

Her Calling

Dr. Michaela received her call to preach during her Freshman year at Johnson C. Smith University and received her license to preach six years later while stationed in Germany.

For the next 22 years, Dr. Michaela worked closely with ministry leadership and held various leadership roles including Local Director of Missions and Minister of Music.

Dr. Michaela has always been the one to speak up for others and to take a stand, even when it meant standing alone.

Her story

Dr. Farmer is the author of "When the Church Preys: Finding the Courage to Walk Away & Trust Again" which tells the story of her family's journey back to God after walking away from the bondage of religion.

Dr. Michaela is passionate about helping Kingdom leaders to become "Leaders worth following" and helping Kingdom workers who have experienced religious trauma rediscover their faith and reclaim their voice. Stay tuned for her next work.

Dr. Farmer is a 20+ year HR Professional and a licensed GiANT Leadership Coach/Consultant.

She started Pinpoint Coaching & Consulting in 2020 originally to help organizational leaders address "People & culture issues" and to help them become "Leaders Worth Following".

However, in 2022 after much prayer, Dr. Michaela shifted her focus to the Kingdom and Ministry Leadership area with the hope of strengthening the Kingdom of God-one leader, one worker, and one congregation at a time.

Dr. Farmer holds an Honorary Doctorate of Christian Humanities from The School of the Great Commission Theological Seminary-an unexpected honor she received for her work and commitment to building up the Kingdom of God and its Leaders.

Dr. Farmer is also a current Seminarian focusing on Theology and actively working on her second book to strengthen Kingdom Leaders. Additionally, she holds degrees from Johnson C. Smith University and Bowie State University. Dr. Farmer is a 20+ Year HR Professional and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Most importantly, Dr. Farmer is a Happy Wife & Mom, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Prayer Partner, and Minister of the Gospel.
